Osterman Propane helps Habitat for Humanity
Osterman Propane is pleased to be a supporter of two recent Habitat for Humanity projects which are nearing completion for some deserving new families. Osterman Propane has donated heating equipment, labor, and fuel for the projects below.
Millbury -Construction on this single family home began in late October 2009. Three local committees, Construction, Community Outreach and Fundraising, have been formed by volunteers in Millbury and the surrounding areas. These committees meet regularly and work in coordination with the HFH-MW/GW affiliate office to raise funds and support an increasing number of volunteers to complete this project and provide a simple, decent home for a deserving family!

Amherst - Pioneer Valley Habitat is building a total of four single family homes on Stanley Street in Amherst. The land was donated by Amherst College and Amherst students are active on the building crews, supplemented by other PVH construction volunteers. The homes are designed by Kuhn Riddle Architects for great energy efficiency, which helps keep them sustainable for low-income homeowners.
